This is a bad hand drawing of a ring designed for a character in one of my longer fiction works-in-progress. It really is pretty awful, but you get the idea. It is intended to be executed in gold, set with a diamond. Like an engagement ring. I haven't decided how big the diamond should be yet. It needs to be a compromise between size and price; the man who's supposed to be buying this isn't exactly rich. Middle-class, kind of. For the same reason, I haven't decided what "quality" of gold (i.e. 12K, 14K, 24K...) should be used yet either.
